PHILOPTOCHOS
Philoptochos is the women’s philanthropic organization of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, with a mission to provide assistance to those in need. Our chapter at Holy Trinity is dedicated to serving our local community through various programs and initiatives.
Our Philoptochos chapter is made up of dedicated women who share a passion for serving others. We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate, and we work tirelessly to achieve our goals. Through our fundraising events and charitable initiatives, we are able to provide support to those who need it most.
Fundraising is a critical part of our organization’s efforts to help those in need. We organize various events throughout the year, such as bake sales, raffles, and galas, to raise funds for our philanthropic work. All funds raised go directly towards supporting our community through various initiatives.
One of our signature events is our annual gala, which is held each year to celebrate our achievements and raise funds for our programs. The gala features a silent auction, dinner, and entertainment, with all proceeds going towards supporting those in need in our community. We also organize bake sales and other events throughout the year to raise funds for our initiatives.
In addition to fundraising, our Philoptochos chapter is dedicated to serving our community through various programs and initiatives. One of our most notable programs is our feeding the homeless initiative. We partner with local organizations to provide meals to those in need, and we also provide clothing and other essentials to help them get through tough times.
We also support victims of natural disasters through our disaster relief efforts. When natural disasters strike, we work to provide support and care to those affected. We provide financial assistance, shelter, and other essentials to help people get back on their feet after a disaster.
Another important part of our work is supporting families and individuals in our community who are struggling financially. We provide financial assistance to families in need, including help with rent, utilities, and other expenses.
