HOPE

Welcome to the HOPE (Hellenic Orthodox Primary Education) page at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church! Our HOPE program is designed to provide young children with an introduction to Orthodox faith and spirituality through interactive lessons, games, and crafts. We welcome children between the ages of 5-7 to participate in our HOPE program, where they will learn about the Orthodox faith and develop a foundation of spirituality.

At Holy Trinity, we believe that it is essential to start building a strong foundation of faith in our young children. Our HOPE program is the perfect way to introduce children to the Orthodox faith in a fun and engaging way. We understand that young children learn best through hands-on activities and play, and we have designed our program with this in mind.

Our HOPE program is led by dedicated volunteers who are passionate about sharing their faith with young children. Our volunteers are trained to teach Orthodox beliefs and values through fun and interactive activities that keep children engaged and interested. They use age-appropriate materials and resources to teach children about the basic tenets of Orthodox faith, the importance of prayer and worship, and the lives of the saints.

One of the unique features of our HOPE program is that it provides children with opportunities to participate in community service projects. We believe that it is essential to teach children the importance of serving others and giving back to the community, and we incorporate this into our program. Our service projects are designed to be age-appropriate and give children a sense of accomplishment and pride in their ability to make a positive impact on others.

In addition to learning about the Orthodox faith and participating in community service projects, our HOPE program offers children the opportunity to make new friends and develop a sense of belonging to our church community. Our volunteers work hard to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all children feel loved, supported, and encouraged.

At Holy Trinity, we understand that parents are the primary teachers of their children in matters of faith, and we seek to partner with parents in this important task. We provide resources and support to parents to help them continue teaching their children about the Orthodox faith at home. We encourage parents to bring their children to church services and involve them in family prayer time and devotions.
